Description
Right... yet another beauty shot, this time of a Galaxy-class starship. For those of you who don't exactly know Star Trek, it is better known as the Enterprise-D... the registry in the render is changed to suit a starship I created for my fiction: the U.S.S. Endeavor NCC-71904.
The hard part of this lighting is to cover the ugly saucer-engineering connection (a Galaxy-class starship can separate into two sections: saucer part which is the circular dish part, and the engineering part which is the engine and the glowing thing couple used for faster-than-light travel, known as the nacelle) as both parts react differently to same lighting, causing visible sharpness there and hence CG-like look... had to work around and avoid lighting it up, until I can find a better solution.
